I’m still pretty new to R, but find that Google’s using it in lots of places, like MapReduce. Google’s R Style Guide outlines the directions to R programmers. It’s an interesting read — very simple and efficient. (Thanks to the post on Revolutions blog for the link.)
- WelcomeWelcome to my blog, a few thoughts about people, places, events, and ideas that interest me. You'll find everything from racing (ALMS, not NASCAR) to typography, photography to Old English (like "Beowulf", not Chaucer). Post a comment if you find something interesting. Thanks for visiting!
- Wordnik Word of the DayFlittermouse
A bat; a reremouse; a flindermouse.
Example usage: Soon after the May garlands the meadow orchis comes up, which is called 'dead men's hands,' and after that the 'ram's-horn' orchis, which has a twisted petal; and in the evening the bat, which they call flittermouse, appears again.
